Orthopedic back: The ER is not a proper place to be evaluated for chronic back pain. An Orthopedic back and spine specialist is the next step. They can evaluate what might be causing the pain and offer solutions.

Not sure what is: causing pain but are there any accompanying symptoms? Diarrhea/loose stool or constipation? Pain is colicky (intermittent), triggered with food, any nausea/vomiting? How about fever? Any urinary symptoms? There are many things that can cause specific back pain. My recommendation is to visit a healthcare professional who can follow you to get properly diagnosed and treated.
