MRI: One must always be alert for meniscus injury or cruciate ligament tear depending on how the injury occurred. This will not be seen on X-ray or ultrasound. You should consider MRI. Workers compensation will consider the request as long as symptoms persist and other tests do not provide the answer. Speak to your doctor and best wishes.
