May be a small mole: You may be able to get an answer by checking Google Images. If not certain you can have an online consultation at Health Tap and upload an image of the area.

Need exam: It's difficult to guess at the cause from this description. Wart? Lichen planus? Other? Presumably your doctor checked it when you had your STD tests: what did (s)he say about it? If didn't know or uncertain, you'll need exam now -- or maybe sign up for concierge care on health tap and arrange to send a photo. Most such problems don't turn out to be serious, but better safe than sorry. Good luck!
