I started what i thought was my period 10 days early. it was very heavy for 2 days, then stopped (periods normally 4-5 days, not normally heavy).

Stress: stress, diet and other hormonal factors can sometimes alter periods, make sure you are not pregnant. Hopefully will become fine soon, if continue, then please get a check up.

DUB: or dysfunctioanal uterine bleeding. Means hormonal imbalance causing this bleeding. If one time event your body can correct it by itself . If it recurs see a gyn specialist to check you out to see if there is a poyp or fibroid or thyroid problem, etc. Also take a pregnancy test to make sure that you are not pregnant if you are sexually active.
