I can't take otc pain meds) i took one 45mg dose of prescribed codine at noon, can i drink around 6? if not when is it safe to drink?

Don't drink tonight: Opiates like codeine and alcohol are a dangerous mix. At 6 hours out, most codeine is on its way out (with 90% gone in 24 hrs.) but prudent medical advice would be to give it a rest at the bar tonight.
