Needs drainage: Most primary care doctors don't drain styes (I do if they can be drained easily). Usually an eye doc can take care of them (but they make you wait 3 weeks total time in most cases). If the stye comes back or worsens it could be something else more dangerous, or just a stye again. Best of luck
