Yes: It depends if your talking about oral or genital herpes. On the lips/face, impetigo, a superficial bacterial (staph or strep) infection could like like herpes. On the genitals; yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis or molluscum may have similar features. Either way, best to see your doctor. Cultures and blood tests can help nail the diagnosis.
