Generally no problem: Sex is safe if done with one's monogamous spouse and if there are no sexually transmitted diseases nor any pregnancy complications (such as premature labor). As long as it is comfortable enough for both people, one can have sex throughout her pregnancy. Having intercourse and orgasms is fine as long as the pregnancy is going well. It is also important psychologically for both people.

Pregnancy Norms: Yes. Of course. I often answer these questions with the advice i give to all pregnant patients I have or am caring for. Many obs also recommend that the pregnant patient get a pregnancy guide or prenatal book. Most of the variety of questions and situations that occur during pregnancy are covered. Having this kind of book is empowering. It saves a lot of worrying.
