Orange substance: That orange colored substance may be mucus mixed with traces of blood which may have come from hemorrhoids, anal fissure,growths or inflamed area in the rectum or colon. Your physician can check a stool sample taken from a rectal exam in his office and test to see if it contains occult blood. If it's negative and your bowel movements are perfectly normal, I wouldn't be concerned.
