Irritation: Labia swelling is frequently caused by irritation. This can be from an infection like yeast or herpes or from trauma or something as simple as chaffing on your underwear. There are some other rare causes. If it is persistent, you will need an exam. Best wishes!

Bartholin gland: You may have a Bartholin gland cyst or infection. Try sitting in a hot tub of water to lessen any discomfort. If the swelling does not go down in 2 to 3 days then see a MD.
