Can you get swollen glands or lymph nodes if you were choked or somebody was squeezing hard on your neck?

Yes: It could irritate the lymph nodes in your neck causing swelling. more concerning is why was someone choking you? This should be reported as an assault. Please do not let someone get away with hurting you. No one has the right to do that EVER. Please be sure you are safe. Avoid contact with anyone who would do that to you. If you are/feel unsafe call for help, contact local police.

Not usually: Chocking would not cause lymph glands to become larger. Choking may bring attention to glands that may have become larger for some other reason. If the choking you are referring to is part of domestic or other violence, you ought report it to the police and remove yourself from the abusive situation.
