It probably is: It may be related to your vomiting. You did not say what caused your puking.Common cause is gastritis and it can be associated with Esophagitis as acid comes up through the esophagus. and it may get irritated. It wlll go away within few days.You can try over the counter Gaviscon and it may help.if it persists see your Primary Care Physician
