Holter Monitor: Palpitations means awareness of heart beat(HB). But is this an irregular HB?, or just more forceful beat? This Is important to determine. How quickly does it go away as you or after you pass the stool? It just may be your body telling you to go. I recommend you have a Holter monitor by your physician to make sure you do not get an irregular heart beat which would require treatment.
