I've been having seriously irregular discharge for going on three years now, it's constant, odorous and uncomfortable. what should i do?

Possibilities...:: Vaginal discharge can be so aggravating and even embarrassing! Not going to ask if sexually active, but discharge can result from several STDs and if it is a possibility, it must be checked by doc and treated ASAP. If odor is "fishy" at all, may be bacterial vaginosis. Easily treated...like a yeast infection, but bacterial rather than fungal. There are OTC kits to check for BV and yeast infxn.
