Different: Keratitis is an inflammation of the cornea, the outer window of the eye. It can occur from inflammation, infection and various traumas or systemic diseases. Uveitis is an inflammation, usually sterile, of the inside of the eye - It commonly causes severe pain and light sensitivity. Sometimes it is spontaneous but also can be associated with various systemic diseases.
