I suspect that you: might have had palpitations prior to bending over but didn't feel them. The act of bending over restricts the blood flow into your thorax and heart reducing your cardiac output. Some rapid heart beats can contribute to this and make it worse. When you straighten up there is limited blood flow to your head for a few seconds while the system gets caught up. This makes you dizzy. HA is unrelated.
