TMJ: If you are having TMJ issues, talk to your dentist. Most TMJ pain is caused by bruxism (chronic teeth grinding and/or clenching), or a bad bite, and if often related to stress. Your dentist can make a diagnosis and recommend treatment.

Yes, but...: Lightheadedness may be a symptom of TMJ Dysfunction, but may also signal middle ear infection, sinus infection, reaction to Meds or diet change, electrolyte imbalance, or a myriad of other causes. See a Dentist, Orthodontist, or Oral Surgeon with expertise in resolving TMD. Referral to your General Physician may be in order if joint Dysfunction is ruled out.
