Eye pain: I would not jump to a conclusion of cancer. Can you explain what you mean by feeling "Funny"? Any fever/chills? Do your eyes hurt when you move them around? Any change in vision? If yes to any of these questions I would immediately go see your doctor. Also do not touch the area as it may aggravate the situation.
