Needs evaluation: I treat fevers seriously - and I would strongly recommend you get professional help from a doctor. There are many causes for fever, but in a child, I am always extra careful. Paracetamol will change the appearance of the fever (how high it goes) and possibly mask other symptoms (like headache, joint pains). It's important to get more history on your child's case. Please take action now.
