You need to be seen: SueM, at your (our) age, this could be a lot of things and it is not going away with pain management. Please go and get an examination and a urinalysis and don't stop pestering until someone gives you an actual reason for this pain. And incidentally, I personally would get off Ibuprofen. Use Tylenol (acetaminophen) and ask for something else if needed, but NSAID's have many potential complications. Good luck!
