See Gyn: Possibly a false (+) on the first EPT, a false (-) on the second EPT. At that early is could be a "chemical pregnancy", the egg gets fertilized, never implants & you will have a late cycle. VERY COMMON (more than 25% of the time an egg is fert, some think more than 50%). Just now seeing them more since the tests are so good. Other possibilities exist, but this is most common.

Repeat EPT: It is helpful to repeat the home pregnancy test in 48 hours, ideally with an first am urine sample to make sure. You can also check with your doctor for a blood test as your results were unclear at home. If you are wanting to be pregnant, it is preferred that you are taking a prenatal vitamin complex daily, so consider starting this. On the other hand, if you don't desire a pregnancy, choose BC
