Hiccups: Were you treated with antibiotics during bronchitis? Hiccups represent irritation of vagus or phrenic nerve both of which run through the chest and serve the diaphragm the cause of the hiccups ( irregular contraction) , If you actually have a pneumonias, enlarged nodes it could be irritating the nerve or even GI reflux which may be a cause of your cough/bronchitis or cough f/u w/doc
