A member asked:

I have a face wash that contains parabens. is this bad to use on your face daily? how about ceramides and hyaluronic acid?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Safe generally: Parabens are stabilizers found in natural as well as manufactured products. They are only a problem if you are allergic to them. Before use of any product on the face, you can test them on the inside of the arm for 3 days. If no reaction, should be safe on face. Ceramides and hyaluronic acid help restore barrier, protective function in skin and are very safe on the face.
