A member asked:

Dust in my hair which won't go away. pinching fingers & dragging through hair gets white stuff stuck on fingers. what is it and how to get rid of it?

Dandruff: For patients with seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp the suggested treatment is with antifungal shampoos (selenium sulfide 2.5%, ketoconazole 2%, or ciclopirox 1%) rather than frequent shampooing with nonmedicated shampoo. The medicated shampoo should be used daily or two or three times per week for several weeks, until remission is achieved.
