Clindamycin SEs: Clindamycin can directly irritate the esophagus and cause something called 'pill induced esophagitis' -esp if you noticed trouble swallowing it, did not swallow it down with water etc. Depending on how bad your symptoms are, you may need to get this checked out. GI doctors have endoscopic tools that can look directly at the affected area. I would recc seeing your Primary MD or goto ER if it's bad.

Should end: This should get better. Try to avoid spicy foods, coffee, alcohol and you can try some Nexium (esomeprazole) och Pepcid AC for a few weeks to help relieve the symptoms.
