A member asked:

Hi, my wife gets normally her period and she takes no pills, why isn't she pregnant yet?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can take awhile: Making a human being is a complex process. The chance of getting pregnant in any given month of unprotected intercourse is only 20-25%. About 85% of women will conceive in a year's time. The point is that it can take time. If you have been "trying" for over a year, you should see an Ob/Gyn or infertility specialist. Best wishes!
