My 8 months old baby has diarrhea what can i give him to stop the diarrhea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diarrhea: in children is common and usually self resolving with a few extra dietary supports. STOPPING the diarrhea (the body's way of eliminating the offending infection) with medications can be dangerous in children. Supplement with an electrolyte solution (few ounces) after every loose stool, avoid of sugary foods/drinks like juices, and increase binding foods (bananas, rice, toast) .
