Couple of things....: So you started spotting on day 17 with bleeding by day 20. It is possible that you had a failed corpus luteum which resulted in sudden drop in progesterone which then caused the bleed. If you are sexually active and without contraception, it is possible that it was an implantation bleed from a new pregnancy. F/U will be based on your particular circumstance. Irregular bleeding is very common.
