Probably caruncle: While various tumors can arise in the urethra, the most frequently noted and which represents a benign process is the urethral caruncle. This is a benign fleshy outgrowth found at the urethral meatus. It is the most common lesion of the female urethra but rare in males If growth persists surgical removal sometimes necessary. Other benign lesions may arise from an infectious process.
