Not specific: There is no specific routine to calm or reduce someone's grief during the holiday season. Even to note it is sometimes magnified depending on the loved ones usual activity during the holiday or meaning to your mother. Being with her is the most loving thing and most important you can do. Be sure if she is grieving she is on some type of antidepressant if appropriate as per her doc. Best wishes
