Complicated: Dr Blumenfield's answers cover the adverse effects, but certain extracts of marijuana can help control certain types of epilepsy, may assist spasticity, and may help some with migraine headaches. But rather bad for the immature brain, i.e., up to age 25 or 26, and especially a problem in those with psychiatric history. Medical marijiuana has potential, not sure, re recreational use.
