RLQ rumbling: The right lower quadrant of the abdomen is where the small intestine empties into the large. Intestinal contents are nearly all liquid at this point and may contain gas produced by bacterial activity. Without loose stools, pain, fever or bleeding it is likely this rumbling is the normal movement of intestinal contents. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
