Bowel transit time: Normally takes ~ 2.5 -5 hours in the stomach and 2.5-5 in the intestines, then 12 + in the colon. But if you have only a diet of vegetables and drink water/coffee which is a cathartic, it is possible to get more rapid transit time, as by 4-5 hours there is food in colon.
