Possibly: Anal discharge can be due to blood or loss of small amts of liquefied fecal material,. If the sphincter is weak, the anal canal can allow semisolid material to pass without sensation. Rectal exam can help. When there are internal hemmorhoids they may also be seen to bleed. Blood from internal hemmorhoids appears to be pinkish or red as it passes out. If at a higher origin then stool is black.
