Too soon: It usually takes around 2- 3 weeks, which is why the kits say, usually to take the test after your period has been late 3 days, If negative, you can repeat in a week. Check the kit instructions and follow it exactly. Make sure the kit has not expired. Since you are trying to get pg, assume you might be, and don't drink or smoke, or take any meds that are not recommended for pg women. Good luck!
