I've been having a light menstruation ever since i gave birth to my daughter last december 2014. and the blood is dark, what can be the cause of this?

Menstrual changes: After a woman gives birth to a baby, the pattern of bleeding with periods. Darker red blood may be normal. The amount of blood flow may decrease for 1 - 2 years after childbirth. I would record the duration in days and regularity (every 4 wks ) of your menstrual cycle. This information should be discussed with GYN Doctor.
