Ask again.: Who wants 3 periods a month? Talk to your gyn about how to regulate your periods. If you did not have bloodwork to check for thyroid problems, get that done. If your gyn (or any doc) did not satisfy your concerns and makes no recommendations on how to treat or live with something that is so irritating and not normal, consider another opinion or another doc.
