Sure : Having sex around the time of ovulation is the way to optimize your chances of getting pregnant. If this is not what you want Then consider starting birth control if your pregnancy test is negative.

Yes the 7-10 days: after ovulation, which happens about 14 days before onset of menstruation, are prime time for conception as the ovum travels from the ovary through Fallopian tube into the uterus and implants itself if fertilized. So check a pregnancy test in 2 weeks especially if your period is late. If that test is negative, check another one in 1 week after. Thanks for trusting in HealthTap.
