Is this the first : Time? Depends on the quality of the bleeding, and the frequency (last 6 months vs just this one month/) this could also be a sign of diminished ovarian reserve which would not be unusual at age 39. If you are trying to convceive i would speak to your obgyn to make sure there is not another hormonal cause (like low thyroid).
