I took clomid (clomiphene) and i had an operation because my gyno thought i had a cyst.my operation was negative and was advised not to take clomid (clomiphene).why not?

Clomid (clomiphene) & cysts: The use of Clomid (clomiphene) can cause ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome that can cause multiple and very large ovarian cysts. Clearly it's use is counter productive.

Unknown: Don't know what it means that the operation was negative. If it means that the cyst was no longer there, then it cannot be the reason why no clomid (clomiphene). I recommend that you ask your doctor to explain the risks, benefits and alternatives.
