Depends: If you have been sexually active these 12 years, without using any other protection, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. If you miss your period by a week or so, you could do a pregnancy test. Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor.
