Sounds like: either an infected hair follicle (sebaceous cyst) or an insect bite! In either case wet heat may help! If persisting or getting worse over weekend a trip to your PCP (Primary Care Provider) is indicated> BTW you may get more exact answer(s) by attaching a picture of it to your question! Dr Z
