Sounds serious: Unless he ate a gallon of blueberries or such. No, my guess is it may be internal bleeding. Does the water look red and the stool REALLY dark, almost black? At any rate, if he is not eating or drinking he will get dehydrated and someone needs to test this stool for blood. He should be seen.
