Short answer yes: Depending on which type of oral contraceptive, some have both estrogen/progesterone and some only has 1 or the other. Most has progesterone to help regulate a woman's cycle. Please keep a close relationship with your GYN doctor or family doctor to discuss treatment options for your (lack of) menstruation. Also if you happen to miss a pill or two, missed periods are always suspicious for preg!!
