I've been spotting for 11 days now & don't know why. my period was to start on 9/15/15 . i started spotting light pink in color on 9/17/15 & still is?

Prolonged period?: First of all a pregnancy needs to be ruled out with pregnancy test. If it is negative this bleeding pattern can be considered as prolonged period and to be treated as such after the cause is found by the gyn exam. Other causes of this spotting could be infection ,abnormal cell on the cervix or trauma to the cervix. Please see your gynecologist.
