Breakthru bleeding: By definition, breakthrough bleeding occurs while taking some form of hormonal birth control, not after stopping said contraception. So the fact that you're bleeding 2wks after removing your Nuvaring means that your body is attempting to return to its monthly hormonal cycle. So you can start trying to get pregnant.
