Migraine headache? : Your symptoms are suggestive of vascular headache. But if you are under lots of stress than also you at wake up with stiff neck but usually not pounding headache. Try Antiinflammtory medicine like Ibuprofen or Naprosyn (naproxen). Drink lots of fluid bid this is recurrent episode please consult your MD
