Need pcp evaluation: Possible Flu. Fever, muscle aches, cough, sore throat, nausea. The anti-flu medication Tamiflu (oseltamivir) must be taken within the first 48 hours of symptoms to have an effect. See a PCP right away, as you may have a serious conditon, are in danger of dehydration, and need treatment. Flu or strep are diagnosed with swabs, but many other causes are possible. A PCP keeps your medical records for follow-up.
