Depends: That would depend on how long your cycles are. If you generally have a period once a month then you should be safe for about 6 to 8 days from the time you start your period. You would also be safe by about 2 or three days after you ovulate until about 8 days after the next period starts. You should ovulate about 12 to 16 days after your period starts.
