Changes in tissue: These changes mean that some of the tissue of the heart and lungs is not the normal way it usually looks on xray. When tissue is damaged by infection or inflammation sometimes calcium builds in those areas and forms scars or when the body is trying to heal itself it forms a barrier around an abnormal area. The lymph nodes filters things out of the body and can get enlarged.

I found out during a CT heart angio in may that I have a 4 mm calcified nodule, possibly on my intrapulmonary lymph gland. I am worried that it's lung cancer. I did not do a follow up. What should I do?

CXR Heart is normal. Calcification is noted in pul foci and no active lung lesion seen. There is blunting of Rt.costophrenic angle. What ur opinion?
